Alot has been going on. I’ve been either physically exhausted and bed ridden from sleep deprivation or working on new material that I’ve been recording and recording and recording. Also my health has gotten pretty crappy since my sugar intake is high and I’ve become anemic which sucks to think…
Let’s compare here:
Lunar Apocalypse - Started in 2006, released 1 1-minute-long MP3 from like 2007
Aetherius - Started in 2008, released 3 albums, 2 EPs, a single and around 50 other songs that never showed up on any release
ONE OF THESE THINGS IS NOT LIKE THE OTHERRRRRRRRRRRR
I could have released plenty of songs that sounded like generic music, but I chose not to. Therefore just making it look like I was making no progress. It’s my Axl-Rose complex.
Correction in 2007 LA released 4 mp3s back then.
2008 got some weird instrumentals
2009 got Blank Slate
2010 has nothing, so far.
I wish I had George Broussard’s cunning abilities of avoiding the answer.
But really, I can post whatever update on tumblr I can. Until you have a look or listen in my studio, you really shouldnt believe a word I have to say.

Axl Rose took how long to release Chinese Democracy? 15 years? And it came out sounding like shit.
And was that generic commented aimed towards me? Like my music’s generic? It may not be the most polished stuff ever, but I certainly don’t think it’s generic.
Just saying, dude, I keep coming out with more and more music because it gives me more perspective each time I do. I learn from each new song I put out, and feedback from listeners is honestly a big part of that.
If you rarely ever release music, there’s no reason to talk up a big game about it. No one’s going to care if they can never hear what you’re working on. Not trying to be mean, because I love you dude. But it’s the truth.

Alot has been going on. I’ve been either physically exhausted and bed ridden from sleep deprivation or working on new material that I’ve been recording and recording and recording. Also my health has gotten pretty crappy since my sugar intake is high and I’ve become anemic which sucks to think about while listening to “Knife Party”.
The full live band itself is coming together. Yes it is looking more like Lunar is a NIN-esque project where I write and record and then bring my closest of friends in to play with me. But I am including them more and more in helping write material as it goes on. The problem has been Eddie’s working and Butter is working quite a bit. Me and Jordan are the only ones without jobs, but that might change soon.
My recording process is getting better. I was actually able to pull out two totally different songs from a session of improvising and recording riffs and melodies.
The practice space is going to get built once we acquire some plywood and foam.
I know no news is good news unless it’s an MP3. I’m not giving you a cock and bull routine. Dont worry, little space cadets.
I’m proud of what I’ve recorded and I would release it RIGHT NOW, but it needs to be arranged haha or it would just be verse over chorus over intro all at once.
Finding lyrics too that date back to 2006 that will be revised and used.
Space travel takes a while guys. We’re on the homestretch though.
